All of the theory is completed online beforehand using a very comprehensive and valuable training manual covering scalp anatomy, pigments, equipment, consultation and aftercare, so your face to face time is focused on developing real practical skill rather than sitting through lectures.

The practical training is structured to build your confidence step by step:

The first practical day runs through all the theory you have studied online, with plenty of practice on leather sheets to develop your dot work, spacing and consistency
The second practical day is a full day of practical training and practical assessment, working on live models under close supervision
Throughout, you receive Amanda’s personal, hands on guidance and immediate feedback on your technique

Training is delivered at the Merrylands clinic in Sydney or interstate, as ATSCI trains Australia wide, and students find their own models, with sourcing available for a small fee to cover disposables.
