No. If you have no experience, an additional day is simply added to bring you up to speed on skin anatomy and physiology before the core training begins, so complete beginners are fully supported and confident from day one.

You will learn to treat hyperpigmentation, active acne, sun damage, acne scarring, stretch marks, fine lines and more, using both chemical and mechanical treatments combined in a holistic program tailored to each individual client’s skin and goals.

On successfully passing your competency based examination and practical assessment, you receive a Certificate of Competence that qualifies you to practise Australia wide, ready to present to your insurance provider so you can begin treating paying clients straight away.

Models

All students are required to find their own models. If you are coming to Sydney from interstate and wish for ATSCI to find the models for you, there will be a fee per model per treatment. Models will be required to pay a small fee to cover the disposables used in class.

Our ATSCI Certified Courses

All courses are ATSCI certified and are delivered one on one and we do not train in groups or classes, as we believe every individual learns at different levels and we are only as successful and are as good as you learn. All courses are competency based meaning upon completion of your training, you will qualify to practice Australia wide (except laser tattoo removal in WA restricted to doctors only) after successfully passing all theory exam and practical assessments. If you don’t learn enough we have not done our job properly – therefore “your success is our success”.
